Bet Slip, Single and Multi Bets
Clicking on a team's odds adds it to the bet slip. The bet slip is your betting basket — enter your stake there and see the potential return. Placing a bet on a single event is called a single bet.
Team A odds 1.80, Team B odds 2.00. If you place ৳1,000 on Team B and Team B wins, return is ৳2,000 (৳1,000 profit); if Team A wins, ৳1,000 is deducted.
A multi bet (or accumulator) means placing multiple events together on the bet slip. If all selections win, the odds multiply to give a larger return, but if any single one loses, the entire stake is lost.
Three matches with odds of 1.40, 1.50, and 1.60. Combined odds: 1.40 × 1.50 × 1.60 = 3.36 (approximately). A ৳100 stake returns ৳336 if all three win; if any one loses, the full ৳100 is deducted.
In a betting exchange market there are two roles — back and lay. Back means betting on a team to win; lay means betting on a team not to win.
Odds 2.50: BACK Team A with ৳500 and if they win, profit is ৳750 before commission; if they do not win, ৳500 is deducted. LAY Team A and your liability is ৳750 (৳500 × 1.50); if Team A does not win, you profit ৳500; if they win, you pay ৳750.
Before setting your stake in the bet slip, check both the potential return and the potential loss. Multi bets offer the chance of a larger return but carry greater risk — so place multi bets with a small amount.
